The housing market may have temporarily slowed down due to the global health pandemic, but that's no excuse for would-be sellers to skip updating areas of their homes in need of serious upgrades. Real estate has been deemed an essential business in many states. After sheltering in place for a month or more, people will be ready for change in their homes -- or looking for a new one.

New Year, New…..What?

As a new homeowner, you can find me constantly updating and decorating my home. For seasons, for new trends, you name it. I recently put in a gas fireplace and I think it adds a lot to the room. As I dream about my next project (and budget it accordingly!) it made me think - What is the best thing to update in your home for resale value?
